Ratale Lagvad- रताळे लागवड करताना, नवरात्रीचा उपवास म्हटले की आठवतात रताळे! बटाट्यासारखा दिसणाऱ्या रताळ्याला उपवासाच्या मेनू मध्ये मानाचे स्थान असते. गोड चवीमुळे रताळे भारतासह जगभरात आवडीचा आहे. यात फायबर चे प्रमाण खूप असते, बीटा-कॅरोटीनसोबतच अँटी-ऑक्सिडंट घटकही त्यात आढळतात. साखरेच्या पाकात त्याचे गुलाब जामुन बनवतात, तर कुणी उकडवून दुधासोबत खातात. आरोग्याच्या दृष्टीने पोषक असल्याने नियमित खण्यासोबतच लोक उपवासासाठी रताळ्याला खास पसंती देतात.
महाराष्ट्र, ओडिसा, उत्तर प्रदेश, मध्य प्रदेश, पश्चिम बंगाल आणि बिहार येथे मोठ्या प्रमाणावर रताळे लागवड केली जाते. आपल्या देशात सुमारे २ लाख हेक्टर जमिनीवर याची लागवड केली जाते. देशांतर्गत बाजारपेठेत त्याला नेहमीच मागणी असते. शेतकरी ज्या प्रकारे रताळे लागवडीसाठी आग्रही आहेत, तो दिवस दूर नाही जेव्हा आपण चीनला मागे टाकून निर्यातदारांच्या यादीत पहिल्या क्रमांकावर असू. आज संपूर्ण जगाला भारतात उत्पादित केल्या जाणार्या रताळ्याची चव आवडते. रताळे निर्यातदारांच्या यादीत जगभरामध्ये भारत सहाव्या क्रमांकावर आहे.
लागवडीचा हंगाम/हवामान:
खरीप – जूनचा पहिला आठवडा, रब्बी-सप्टेंबरचा शेवटचा आठवडा, उन्हाळी – जानेवारी, फेब्रुवारी
रताळे वर्षभर बाजारात उपलब्ध असतात. शीतोष्ण आणि समशीतोष्ण असे दोन्ही प्रकारचे हवामान असलेल्या प्रदेशात रताळ्याची लागवड केल्यास चांगले उत्पादन मिळू शकते. Ratale Lagvad- रताळे लागवड करताना, याची लागवड तिन्ही हंगामात करता येते, परंतु पावसाळ्यात लागवड करणे सर्वात फायदेशीर आहे. या हंगामात रताळ्याची रोपे चांगली वाढतात. २५ ते ३४ अंश तापमान रोपांच्या वाढीसाठी उत्तम आहे. हिवाळ्याच्या हंगामात रताळ्याची लागवड अधिक प्रमाणात केली जाते. सप्टेंबर, ऑक्टोबर महिन्यात त्याची लागवड करून चांगले उत्पादन आणि नफा मिळू शकते.
माती कशी असावी:
रताळे हे पीक हलक्या प्रतीच्या भुसभुशीत जमिनीत, कमी खर्चात आणि कमी वेळेत उत्तम प्रकारे निघते.
रताळ्याच्या लागवडीसाठी वालुकामय चिकणमाती सर्वात योग्य आहे. लागवडीसाठी योग्य निचरा असलेली सुपीक जमीन निवडा. मातीची pH पातळी ५.८ ते ६.८ दरम्यान असावी. कडक आणि खडकाळ जमिनीत त्याची लागवड करू नये.
लागवडीसाठी शेतजमीन कशी तयार करावीॽ Ratale Lagvad- रताळे लागवड करताना…
लागवडीकरिता जमीन १५ ते २५ सें.मी. खोलीपर्यंत नांगरून किंवा खोदून घ्यावी. ६० सें.मी. अंतरावर वरंबे जमिनीच्या उतारास काटकोनात करावेत. लागवड करताना बेणे वरंब्यावर २५ सें.मी. अंतरावर लावावे. बेण्याचा मधला भाग जमिनीत पुरावा व दोन्ही टोके उघडी ठेवावीत. बेण्याच्या मधल्या भागावरील दोन डोळे मातीत पुरले जातील, अशी काळजी घ्यावी.
लागवड करण्यासाठी सुधारित वाण:
रताळ्याचे अनेक प्रकार आहेत. या प्रत्येक वाणाची स्वतःची विशिष्ट अशी चव, रंग आणि पौष्टिक घटक वेगवेगळे आहेत. तरी, शेतकरी Ratale Lagvad- रताळे लागवड करताना…वर्षा, कोकण, अश्विनी, सम्राट, कालमेघ, पुसा सुहावणी, पुसा रेड, राजेंद्र गोड बटाटा या सुधारित जातींना लागवडीसाठी विशेष प्राधान्य देतात.
आंतरमशागत:
२० ते ३० दिवसाच्या अंतराने नियमित खुरपणी करावी. लहान वेलांना मातीची भर लावावी. जमिनीवर टेकलेल्या वेलांच्या डोळ्यातून मुळे फुटतात. त्यामुळे लागवडीनंतर ४५ ते ६० दिवसांच्या दरम्यान शेंड्याकडील वेलांना वळण द्यावे. गरजेनुसार पाणी देणे आवश्यक आहे.
सिंचन व्यवस्थापन:
रताळ्याच्या रोपांना लागवडीच्या आधारावर सिंचन केले जाते. जर उन्हाळी हंगामात लागवड केली असल्यास लागवडीनंतर लगेचच पाणी द्यावे. या दरम्यान झाडांना आठवड्यातून एकदा पाणी दिले जाते. त्यामुळे शेतात पुरेसा ओलावा राहून कंदांचा विकास चांगला होतो. पावसाळ्यात रोपे लावली असतील तर त्यांना जास्त सिंचनाची गरज भासत नाही. फक्त पाऊस पडलाच नाही तेव्हा मात्र पिकाला पाणी द्यावे लागते. रब्बी हंगामात रताळ्याची लागवड करण्याचा विचार असेल तर, ह्या हंगामात लागवड केलेल्या रताळ्याला मात्र पाण्याची आवश्यकता असते.
फर्टिलायझेशन:
Ratale Lagvad- रताळे लागवड करताना, रताळ्यांना वाढ आणि विकासासाठी नियमित खताची आवश्यकता असते. पिकाच्या सुरुवातीच्या काळात दर ४-६ आठवड्यांनी नायट्रोजन, फॉस्फरस आणि पोटॅशियम समान प्रमाणात असलेले संतुलित खत द्यावे. पीक वाढीच्या अवस्थेनुसार खत नियोजन करावे.
कीटक आणि रोग नियंत्रण: Ratale Lagvad- रताळे लागवड करताना…
पिकांचे नुकसानटाळण्यासाठी नियमित निरीक्षण आणि वेळेवर उपाययोजना करणे आवश्यक आहे. रताळे विविध कीटक आणि रोगांना बळी पडतात, ज्यामध्ये भुंगे, पांढरी माशी आणि विविध बुरशीजन्य रोगांचा समावेश होतो. रोग व किडी ओळखून योग्य त्या कीटकनाशक आणि बुरशीनाशकांचा वापर करावा. एकात्मिक किड व्यवस्थापन करावे.
काढणी:

२. रताळे या पिकासाठी कोणत्या प्रकारचे खत वापराल?
रताळ्याचे पीक घेत असाल तर तुम्ही तुमच्या शेतात नायट्रोजन, फॉस्फरस आणि पोटॅशिअमचा वापर करावा. जर तुमची माती जास्त आम्लयुक्त असेल, तर तुम्ही मॅग्नेशियम सल्फेट, झिंक सल्फेट आणि बोरॉन वापरावे तुम्ही तुमच्या जमिनीनुसार या खतांची मात्रा कृषी तज्ज्ञांना विचारून निवडू शकता.
